MeltZoid

Turn a photo into a fuse bead pattern

MeltZoid turns a photograph into a pattern for fuse beads, the kind sold as Perler, Hama or Artkal that you lay out on a pegboard and iron. You get the pattern, a bead count for every colour, how many pegboards it covers, and the finished size.

Make a pattern from your photo

How it works

  1. Choose a photo and crop it.
  2. Pick a bead size (mini, midi or maxi) and how many beads wide, from one board across to four, or any width you like. The board count and finished size update as you go.
  3. Choose an outline if you want one: a circle, hexagon, heart or star instead of a rectangle. Beads outside it are left out of the counts.
  4. Make the pattern, fix any bead by hand, and print it or download the bead list.
